Gigs are what we do best.
We are delighted with our line up of great live music and entertainment.
Nearly all gigs are ticketed, the exception is when it’s a Bank Holiday, Saturday or our Beer Festival.
Please do book tickets in advance. We recommend doing this as many of our gigs sell out.
If you are a carer, please access a ‘CARER’ ticket on the event ticket page. Most gigs will have three carer tickets available. If you can’t see it on offer they may have gone. You can contact us
If you want a ‘CONCESSION” ticket then have one. Most gigs have ‘concession’ tickets. You don’t have to show anything, or prove anything to access them. Student /Skint*/Teacher/Blue lightworker/ Old/Young.

Three Cane Whale
Three Cane Whale is a multi-instrumental acoustic chamber-folk trio based in Bristol, UK. As intricate as a team of watchmakers, as spare as a mountain stream, uplifting and elegiac in equal measure, their music encompasses both a cinematic sweep and an intimate delicacy, in which “the aroma of muddy leaves and old nettles is almost tangible” (The Observer).
They are Alex Vann, Pete Judge and Paul Bradley

CHEWY SHE is an electro-disco-punk band from London, blending glittery disco grooves with punk rock energy.
Known for wild, immersive live shows that mix humor, absurdity, and feminist themes, their performances feel like a chaotic, campy fairytale where the audience is part of the action.

BOCI
boci is a Bristol based violinist and songwriter creating dreamfolk pop. Her use of violin loops, synths and effects pedals allows her to create cinematic, layered textures which evolve into dynamic full band arrangements. Classically trained, boci uses her violin freely and expressively as another voice, taking inspiration from folk playing styles. boci's music is deeply connected to her relationship with the natural world and time spent walking in the mountains of Scotland, Wales and the Lake District.
After the release of her courageously raw debut album we are each other, this will set us free in 2022, boci has cemented herself as a staple of the alt-folk scene in Bristol and beyond. She's played two UK headline tours (selling out multiple venues) and is embarking on a third one in May to celebrate the release of her sophomore album.

Chartist Event
The Chartists were a nineteenth century group of working-class people who campaigned for the vote and for the creation of a more inclusive democracy (‘The People’s Charter with its Six Points).
In May 1839, 5,000 people met on Selsley Common at a Chartist gathering.
The weekend will celebrate that momentum happening in Stroud and the movement that was a very important event ib history.
Anna Howie
Anna Howie is a veteran live performer and has spent time in Nashville honing her craft, she has written with legendary writer Gretchen Peters, and also teamed up with producer and multi instrumentalist Lukas Drinkwater to create ‘The Friday Night Club’.
Lukas Drinkwater and Tobias Ben Jacob
UK alt-folk duo Jacob & Drinkwater have been called “stand out new folk” by BBC6 Music and “inventive and thrilling” by R2 Magazine. Jacob's sweeping vocals never fail to captivate, delivering many a spine-tingling moment; the fluidity and precision of his finger-picking underpinned by Drinkwater's nimbly rhythmic double bass; at times sweetly soaring, haunting, percussive and driving, the layers of depth a perfect counterfoil.
Ray Cooper
Ray Cooper is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He played cello, bass and sang backing vocals with Oysterband for 23 years before leaving to go solo in 2013. Since then he has recorded five solo albums and made over 40 tours in Europe, the UK and Canada.
Ray has lived in Sweden since 2000 where he records in his own studio in a log cabin close to the forest.
Returning to the Prince Albert, Ray will showcase songs and tunes from his latest album, ‘Even For A Shadow’ as well as favourites from his previous four solo albums.

The forthcoming third Tim Keegan solo album Vide Grenier was produced by Simon Edwards (Fairground Attraction, Billy Bragg, Kathryn Williams) and features the band, follows on from The Long Game (2015) and Foreign Domestic (2007).
